Courtrallam has eight falls in it. They are five falls, main falls, old courtrallam, tiger falls(puli aruvi), sitraruvi, pazhathottam, sembakathevi and one more falls whose name i am not able to recollect.
Amongst these five falls, main falls and old courtrallam are famous ones.

Old Courtrallam falls is the place where cinema shooting takes place at courtrallam.

Five falls has water for most part of the year unlike the others which have water only in during monsoon season.

Main falls is a place where the force and the quantity of water are good.

Pazhathottam is now restricted for tourist entry... This place has beautiful gardens nearby. And here one will be standing in water upto his hip as he/she goes nears the falls. But the force of the water isnt much. It is a pleasant bathing experience... I have been there once.

Tiger falls and Sitraruvi are very small falls... Here one baths in the water flowing out of main falls... Sitraruvi especially has been designed for kids to bath. There is no force in the water... Something like a slightly heavy shower bath.

Shenbagadevi and the uppermost falls: One has to walk 7kms uphill to reach this falls. There is no road route to these two falls. The journey is equivalent to trekking. One cant go up there without the assistance of locals or forest officials for they may get lost in the forest. I havent been there yet. But the water at these two sites are the purest. Also there exists a current in the water in both these falls. People bathing without proper guidance have been washed away at these places.

Apart from the couple pics taken at tiger falls. I have a video taken at five falls. It plays for 12 secs. The size is 925 KB. If u need that file mail me.
